yeah, periya mottai did a pretty decent job with the ONOKanavu soundtrack...but i actually liked kutty mottai's "kanda naall mudhal" song in KNMuthal better...

ram, i trust u wud know that kanda naal mudhal is not an original tune.. jus like alaipayuthey.. a traditional carnatic number spruced up with a western beat... does sound good though :)
comin to ilayaraja, the song i cant have enuff of, out of all his recent compositions, is this opening title number of the film adhu oru kanaa kaalam.. a balumahendra film, and ilayaraja has sung it himself, as only he can.
that now is the kind of song that no other music director has ever done.. such a simple song, so softly and simply orchestrated, and written (he wrote the lyrics himself too), and sung. he simply is divine. the song's called kaattu vazhi kaal nadaiyaa...
